About Frank

Yes, this wedding involves two people... and chances are that you know one of them really well and the other not-so-much. If it's me that you don't know... here I go:

I was born in Boston, MA to two people (yes, my parents Pauline & Ricky) who were polar opposites, but somehow managed to raise some decent kids (yes, including me). I have two younger sisters (Meredith & Caitlin). My parents divorced when I was fairly young, and my mother married Ron. We moved to Reston, VA (near DC) where I attended 8th-11th grades. While attending South Lakes High in Reston, my French teacher suggested that French "might not be my language"... so I took the hint and enrolled in ASL (American Sign Language). We then moved to Lexington, KY where I took more ASL classes, became active in the Deaf community, and graduated high school. I attended college in Kentucky (University of Ky; Lexington Community College; Eastern Ky University). While studying for my B.S. (hey! it means Bachelor of Science) in Psychology, there were good times and bad (car trouble, car accidents, law-suits, and identity theft), but I got through it all with some great friends to show for it. I worked multiple jobs all through high school and college. My jobs were as random as could be... Blockbuster Video, Chesapeake Bagel Bakery, Chuck-E-Cheese, Chop House waiter, residential counselor for Deaf schizophrenics, Community College Interpreter.. and I also served as a coordinator for Silent Games (Deaf gatherings), and on the board of the Kentucky Registry for Interpreters of the Deaf. I then applied to Gallaudet University in Washington DC for the Clinical Psychology Ph.D program. I'm well into the program at this point... and that's where I am now.
